Hailing from Brazil and traversing between Japan and his homeland, Renan—also known as Ren—embarked on a photography journey in 2019, igniting an enduring passion for the art form. His initiation into photography came through a course, during which a mentor shared an intriguing concept—the idea of "duck photographers." Much like ducks, which can navigate air, land, and water but often in a less orderly manner, these photographers aspire to capture every genre yet sometimes struggle to excel in any particular style. This analogy resonated deeply with Renan, spurring him to embrace the role of an exemplary "duck photographer." Today, his repertoire encompasses an array of genres, from portraits, products, and engagements to travel, landscapes, cityscapes, and urban scenes.
