Artober Day 7 | Discover El Salvador

October 10th 2024

The "Discover El Salvador" Day at Artober celebrated the rich culture and artistry of El Salvador. In collaboration with the Embassy of El Salvador, guests explored a photography exhibition showcasing the revitalized Historic Center of San Salvador and scenes from Salvadoran coffee and surf culture.

Visitors enjoyed authentic Salvadoran flavors with a pop-up by Café Dina, featuring traditional dishes like pupusas by Chef Dina Cardoza, along with a specialty coffee tasting by COYOTE Coffee. Additionally, the event showcased Lula Mena’s eco-friendly textiles and accessories, all crafted by Salvadoran artisans. This celebration brought a vibrant taste of Central America to Tokyo, blending art, food, and cultural heritage.

Artober 2024 was Artedly's first-ever multi-day event – an 11-day celebration of creativity held from October 4th to October 14th at Hibiya Okuroji, one of Japan Rail's flagship locations. Artober featured the works of 42 talented creators from our community in the gallery space, while each evening offered a unique event in the adjacent event space (of which this is one). From workshops and live talks to interactive art experiences, each day at Artober brought something truly special.
