We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who joined us for our inaugural Drink and Draw gathering at Harry's Sandwich Co. It was a wonderful evening filled with art, delectable food, and the joy of making new acquaintances.
With Tara Mcinerney at the helm, attendees not only gained insight into animation techniques but also had the chance to apply them in an engaging collaborative setting. Comic Jam!
Undoubtedly, the highlight of the evening was the comic jam session. The premise was straightforward: each participant received a sheet of paper adorned with six empty squares. Drawing inspiration from prompts randomly chosen from a hat, artists sketched their interpretations in the allotted spaces.
Afterward, they passed the paper to another participant, who continued the narrative in their own unique style. The outcome? Twenty-five collaborative comics, each featuring the creative contributions of six different artists. Dive into the gallery below to witness the imaginative results!
